Each climber starts at the foot of the hill on their own side and races to the top. On your turn you keep climbing for more ground — but it is press-your-luck: slip and you lose everything you gained that turn and fall, and the higher you are the further you fall. The top stretch is a treacherous summit ridge where even a small slip sends you tumbling, and a lucky roll triggers a rockfall that knocks the leader back — so leads are hard to hold and the race stays close to the very end. Plant your flag to bank your progress and end your turn safely. Talk and see each other over the built-in peer-to-peer voice, video and text chat while you race.

How does the Hill Climb game work?
Each player climbs the hill from their own side. On your turn you roll to climb (2–6 adds steps), but a slip loses everything you gained that turn and you fall — further the higher you are. The top stretch is a treacherous summit ridge where you slip on a 1 or a 2, and rolling a 6 triggers a rockfall that knocks the leader back a step. Plant a flag to bank your progress and end your turn safely. The first climber to reach the summit wins.
